Ive been toying with the idea of picking up a 96 Impala SS to replace the GTI. I love their styling and the V8 and RWD help too.

Id like to know if there is anything to watch out for on these cars? Im looking at the 96 year since it has front bucket seats and the floor shifter. I found an ad for one for $16k with 55k miles which is rather low for these cars.

Please spare me the its a domestic! points of view.

Thanks!
