Default Air filter removal for the track?

So, when I took my Si to the track I removed the air filter. I dont think its that big of a deal since I only made 5-6 passes. I posted my results on a Civic board and some ass bag tells me it didnt make a difference when I picked up a lil less than 2 tenths and 2mph. I ran 6 passes or so at 92 MPH and 5-6 more at 94 MPH after I took it out. I think it made a diference. What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Frankie

personally i wouldnt do it. but if you think the 2 MPH trap speed you gained is worth it then go ahead.

but remember the risk doesn't always outweigh the reward.

I did it to see if I would gain anything and I did so I kept running to see how quick I could get it. I dont run on the street like that.

Rentals are a whole different breed. They can take all sorts of abuse that a normal car cant

Or maybe it's a huge wing having pos honda that runs 92 in the 1/4.

Either way he didn't really specify or say it was fast. Just stated he saw an increase.
