of course 30lbs on a s2000 is alot, i was just trying to make a point, a 2jz in a s2000 is nice, hence, why i said low boost.

 

what about a 2jz in a 94-96 s14

 

if you dont mind me asking why a 2jz? there pretty bad ass, all i know about them besides the normal is there blocks can take alot of boost.

drop a 2jz in a Miata, that will realy make that Santos guy flip out and curse me out for no reason.

 

im not mad, its just information thats incorrect is worse than no information, there is nothing wrong with trying to help and its actually a good thing, just becareful the information you spread on the internet cause some people will believe it. and 30lbs is alot on any motor, not just a 2jz or s2k or whatever, you have to have a built motor and a very good tune and usually race gas to get away with it. you can run 30lbs on any motor will it last and will the turbo efficient at the 30lbs is another factor. i got nothing against you cuz, i just hate seeing crazy information. and you are right a 2jz in an s2k will be fun on low boost, will be a blast on high boost (done right)

To the OP:If you're really set on the whole 2jz powertrain,find a 240,and swap it in.

2jz in an s14 go for OP.

 

30psi on a stock 2j,with stock twins is ridiculous.

Not because its alot of boost,but because that's way beyond the efficiency of the turbo's.

Plus it would blow up within seconds.

 

ive just always been a fan of the supra.. and always wanted one.. just a little out of my budget.. so i figured why not just take the heart from the beast and drop it in another good lookin car...
