Default A Different Kind of Drag Car

So out here in Colorado, this guy Brent Leivestad from PFI speed had been working on this project for a few years. Ive been able to see it first hand since the beginning when it showed up as a red stripped shell, and I will say, that thing is sweet as hell and came a long way. Here is the link of Brent talking about the set up. http://blog.cardomain.com/blog/2008/...aintv-bre.html

If you are asking if it turns. It does. it has full turning radius that any drag car would

coilovers between the engine and the firewall, I guess with those big ass slicks he has no room to mount them in the normal spot? theres some weird suspension geometry going on there

Not sure if you watched the video link, but that is there for the body to flex so instead of having wheelie bars, he built that to keep the front end on the ground. Just like dragsters do it.

just watched the vid. I dont really get why that chassis was flexing so much from him just kind of stepping on it, did they put a hinge in the chassis under those coilovers?

It doesnt have much flex to it really. Its just like any other car, when you push on it, then it moves.

It needs enough flex in order to keep the front wheels on the ground.
