exactly. IMO, if tesla motors made a truck with a bigger battery that would go further and be able to tow, i think it'd sell like wildfire, same with a 4 door sedan.

But everytime a "alternative" energy fuel car is introduced its some extreme design that 95% of the population will never like. I mean look at the prius, yeah 45mpg would be nice, but do you have to look like gay to drive it? I remember I sold a prius to a guy who was in his 40's and married, he plain out said "you know I don't have any reason to look cool anymore, im married, might as well save some money"

people need to realize what the R&D of vehicles cost and how that translates to price. i remember posting about this a few months ago. for $150,000 and at 200 produced its not bad i think (for people with money out the ass lol)
