How to fix cracked trans casing?

Default How to fix cracked trans casing?

its aluminum, its not craked in a way that its gonna split any more, but it does leak. its not near the pan or anything. can i just epoxy it? or soldar it? should i get it welded? duct tape? any help would be great, thanks.

yeah but its a ford contour and thats such a huge pain in the ass to do.

Duct tape it to create a nice seal then apply the JB Weld and add a hint of superglue to give it that ever so piece of mind.

use thicker oil....










but on a serious note as it was mentioned earlier the only real way to fix it is to get a new tranny case.
