I wanted OEM from the beginning. Body shop added pearl into it that i didn't want/ask for. I'd never intentionally go for a custom color on my DD.

 

Why couldn't it be color-matched? A good body shop should be able to, or just get it done by the shop that knows what color it was.

 

Lesson learned on the paint: In the future, buy an extra qt and keep it around.

And def glad your alright. Ive seen your car in person a few times at quaker, its pretty clean. I wouldn't sweat a few small cracks if that's all it is. Just remember: your neck is killing you, sue the F* out of em. lol.

and holy fuck people! I had extra paint but I never took delivery of it because the shop changed owners and re-located without me being informed before I could get the paint---those scumbags .

Once again, the paint can't be matched because of the pearl and the metal flake in it. If you look in some of the pics you can see how the wheels (without the pearl) are a little different color than the car (with the pearl)

I'll post a pic of it up when they 1st sprayed it the OEM 350z color

 

It made worse of a sound than it was. It was pretty loud for the small amount of damage you're describing lol. You got lucky . Just thought I'd see whats up though.
