2jz'd cobra
well not really. a ton of people were complimenting it.
I think it's cool myself, but that cobra is a little heavyer than a stock supra (just a LITTLE, but still) and it's got a stock auto... it's very possibly slower than the stock 4.6 dohc with a t56 that it came with, which means it isnt even going to beat a stock ls1 fbody.
reguardless, it DOES have a lot of potential, and I think it's cool also. I would have choose a 6speed that supras came with but whatever

I would go wit ha 6 speed too.... but a 6 speed complete swap is about $6k a auto swap is about $2.5k
i dont see how its a worth wild swap. for what he spent on the jz he could have boosted the 4.6 and had around 500hp...on low boost...and its not like you cant get 1000hp out of a 4 valve cobra mod motor...
Now if he had started with a V6 or a GT at the most it would make more sence....

At any rate I bashed it and give it props. It is a nice swap for 1. But 2, it'll still run the same "supra times". 12.5@130.

i dont. we could go back and forth on this all night. I never said it wasnt cool or that i didnt like it. But the way i see it, its one less SVT cobra running around and they are getting harder and harder to find. If the motor was blown, then, ok...but if not, why not start with a cheaper car? the auto thing kinda killed it for me but after reading the price difference you posted i can see why he went auto haha
Are you sure it was a cobra. Front lip looks new hood is aftermarket as are wheels. I could not the the calipers. I would guess it was done to a v6 but could be wrong. I did not see the skirts that i think came on the gt's and cobras.
