Fight the rice!
Heres my dilemma: I want to improve the exterior aesthetics on my civic but I dont want to rice it out. What should I do? I have decent rims and the car itself is clean but What can I do to maintain clean coservative style?

just keep the car clean. If you can FIND something JDM and put it on the car. I personally believe that JDM body parts are better than any body kit. Youll be different and theres almost no way anyone else will have the same thing.

you can put whatever you want on it as long as you can kick some ass---that way if someone talks shit you can smoke em--then they cant talk too much shit anymore can they???? i also agree with keeping it clean and simple---maybe keep it in the ball park of 100 stickers or less...

My civic is silver so If youre out there john maybe I could take a look at the outside of your ride... I have mild rims widows tinted And a 4 exhaust... Soon to be replaced. My car os a SOHC so Itll be quick when Im done but Im saving my money far a swap and the mods on that DOHC.. I was thinking about putting a JDM front lip on and having that along with the stock side skirts painted to match the body.. I figure it would make the car look lower than it is.. Ive seen stuff like that in Superstreet and SCC.. No big wing or oodles of stickers or anything... Maybe some Ion headlights and small foglites like Toucans or something.. My headlights suck.. I dont think thatd be too expensive and I figure it would maintain a conservative look..

Would recommend against painting the stock side skirts as that plastic cant be sanded and primed the same as the body can.....paint will quickly chip and scrape off......seen many friends do the same.....with the same end results.
Other than that.....just keep it clean....no japanese writing stickers PLEASE....colored emblems are OK if youre gonna have a color theme (I went with red on my black Teg......GSR Hacker went with blue on his white Teg)....no body kit.....JDM anything is nice though....get rid of excess badges and such.....NO ALTEZZAS or all clear tails (Im sure you wouldnt do that but just in case).....CF hood is nice.....NO FART CANS.......just nice and clean.....Im sure youll do fine.

well you can paint the stock platic side skirts as well as the side moldings as long as the painter knows how to properly prep the surface which would require using Plasti-Prep and using a kight amount of harder with the paint that way if they flex a little bit they wont peel pr get spider cracks.
