He lost both of his legs in a race today poor guy he will never be able to race again. As if enough bad shit has not happend already.

Yet another tragety that has left me numb. Alex brought a lot to CART when he raced with the Target team. I still remember him doing his victory donuts. I know this sounds funny but at least he has his life. Since they have the technology he will race again.

I seriously doubt that. too much in the way of physical side of driving a cart.

If he is determined enough Im sure he can do it. Hell there are amputies that run marathons sprints and even do hurdles. Its all about the determination.

Saturday at a race in Germany (they re-named it for the WTC memorial 500 or something like that.) Go to www.espn.com and watch the crash it happend in less than a 10th of a second.

I dont know if he will race in CART. The cars are very hard to get in and out of. Sports cars are a different story. There is a lady that races in the Speedvision World Challenge series that doesnt have the use of her legs. She has a F355 set up with hand controls. Its a pretty sweet set-up.
