Ok, my buddy on monday bought that custom 300zx that Zfever has. You know the one with the supra tail lights. Well he paid 18000 in cash for it got a reciept. He was told that the title is in the process of being transfered, and the car is going to the paint shop. He was told the car would be back in a few days. Being saturday, he has been calling seeing status of the car. Doug won't return his calls, or is never available to talk to. My bud has no idea where the car is, nor does he have the title yet. Just a reciept saying he paid them 18000. How does it take more that 5 bussiness days, to get a title transfered? How come he can't get a hold of anybody to see where the car is at to check up on status?

I have had work done by Z before in the past, I was happy with them and their services. But lately it seems like they have gone down hill.

Anyone else ever had a prob like this with Z?

 

#1 WTF He paid 18k for a 300 zx? That was in some type of condition that it needed paint?

#2 WTF Paid in cash and didnt receive the title when he handed the check over? What about the rest of the paper work?

If anyone seen it, it's the custom wide body, supra tails, custom interior, chrome engine bay, a bunch of mods on the engine . . . but ya, no title in his hand when he transfered the money . . . . I wouldn't of gave them a dime, other than that to cover the paint job as a down payment till I got the car. The only reason it got the paint job, was because it was kinda rice before.

 

Doesnt matter it still needed paint....Did you make a typo and mean to say 1800? I cant see myself paying over 5k for a mint TT.

I guess it had to be cash, no bank would loan 18k for a 300 zx.

 

This car is badass and the 18K included a new paint job right?? you can argue that it should have been less etc, but that car has an ass load of work done to it. I know that the Head guy over there can be hard to get a hold of. Martin is Legit, but the shop as a whole still sketches me out. The only part that is really FUct up in this whole story is that someone paid 18K for a car w/ no title.....
