i woke up rather ambitious this morning and i had nothing to do since my girlfriend was working and i just didnt know what to do so i said what the hell im gunna get a new intake today so i looked in my wallet ouch 30 bucks but well see what we can do. so i get my ass up and go to discount autoparts and pick up a fram cone air-filter for like 12 bucks so i get home and raid my step dads work bench and get some tools and very carefully rip apart my airbox and some to find out the air filter is to big to fit nicely onto the MA sensor so i pondered for a while and decided to jump in my moms honda oddysey and run down to home depot where i made my way to the pumbing department (with mass airflow sensor and filter in hand) and with the assistance of a rather elderly pumbing expert so anyways he hooks me up with some rubber couplings a little big of pvs some joints and some caulk. so i get home and proceed to rig the filter to fit on the damn MAS so after about 2 hours of macguyver-ing success. check out the picture below and tell me what you think. questions? comments? bashings?

It should hold the heat but I would save some money and get a better cone filter. I baught a Puralator filter from Discount before I got the P-Flow and the difference is amasing.
