Ok, so he brings 25% on the initial work, a reasonable deposit, and then the $800 laptop covered the other $12,000; makes sense to me, just don't expect a casino to hire you as a pit boss any time soon.

I'm not sure if you read any of this thread, but the donations are for covering legal fees, to ensure Joe gets what's coming to him. After they get their mechanics lien, they are planning on auctioning off the car. And from what I read, anything they get over the money owed to them is going to charity.

Then the kid brought in other high end parts to tack onto the bill, Such as the Turbo kit(2-3k), Nitrous(500~), and other things. They took this as a sign that the kid had money and was good for it.

Hey Aaron, I have a Sileighty and I know you are way over there but after my move next month I'm possibly looking at getting some more OEM parts. Dont know what I want to do first yet but thinking about OEM Type X wing, 180sx tails, coilovers or z32 brakes. Based on all of this I might just have to see if I can set something up with you guys, instead of my regular shops I go to if you guys have access to those parts.

I updated Joe Dono - Internationally known scammer
I added some links and video clip from FastLaneDaily onto the site.
I also emailed over 15 AM/FM News, Radio and TV news stations with info pertaining to this story. I have been ecstatic over how many unique page impression's my site has recieved in the 3 days it's been up. I have had over 6000 view's so far without any advertising! It's amazing the power of word of mouth that can happen in online forums!
Let's see where this goes from here!

I just cleaned up I don't know how many pages myself to put an end to the controversy about the shops name. The owner of the shop has clarified its meaning and therefore we end it there as it has NOTHING to do with the subject of this thread.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. I think people are letting his mom and his family off way too easy. From what people have said he has been "scamming" for a long time and he is only 20 yrs old...? and it continues to happen.. Much blame goes out to the family for not trying to help this kid or looking over his shoulder.
