The proverbial "jump the shark" event has not happened. After it's on the news, and the BBQ, it will have been jumped. It just gets better whenever Joey Dono posts, and this thread flames back up again.

I just talked to jabberjaw for like an hour about this. I showed her all the links and photos and sites and everything. I showed her the people posting from nepal, everything. I am getting her links to all the sites where he has scammed and also she is going to tell MJ that this is bigger than he thinks. I told her the main purpose in this is for the shop to come out ahead. She told me she could put a donate button on MJ's website so the viewers there can donate.I gave her your paypal address. I need more info from the owners and you guys on TR though. She wants to do a spot promoting the BBQ fundraiser on the air. This is about to blow up WAY more than it already has.

I don't think anyone here is trying to say that Japworks did everything right and that this kid is a super crafty con artist. It sounds like he has spent a large portion of his young life scamming though.
The point of the donations and the help coming out on this board is a sign that people are getting fed up with scammers. I donated in the hopes that this would help in the fight against scamming and to call one out in hopes that it is a lesson learned.
I don't know a single person involved in this situation, but I feel it is my responsibility as a car enthusiast to do what I can to help japworks beat this kid. I am in socal, but if I was closer I would offer time and work to the cause, but if there is something someone from the left coast can do to help, let me know!

The only lesson that will be learned from this is japworks won't do anything on good faith anymore. This dumbass is a career criminal from the looks of things and will continue to do stupid shit.
Good luck with getting fed up with scammers. It's a neverending battle and a new scam is born every second.
