I'd quite happily put something together to buy it and put the proceeds of its sale to charity.
and i have a charity in mind if we did that.. i raise money with my wife every year for the American heart association, specifically for research into heart defects in children. Our youngest was born with 5 heart defects so its something we get involved in every year.

If this gets setup I'm in for 50 - 100 bucks. I move back to Tampa within a couple weeks and would be willing to help as a resource as well.
I like the idea of every $1 or $5 someone donates they get a vote for which charity it goes to.
Publicity would be great. If the timing is right a car show or two sponsored by JAP works and TR members with some graphics for the winning donation will get media coverage for Jap Works, TR and the Charity.
OK guys, I have some awesome news. We have a member that is willing to donate a few hundred dollars worth of stuff for the BBQ/Show in the form of some of the trophies(engraved marble, very high quality, and very nice, not cheap at all) these would probably be for the best of shows, as they are so nice, as well as Japworks stickers that we could sell, and a banner or two. Thanks buddy, I will say thanks for myself and the Japworks crew.
If anyone else has any trophies they can part with, we will take them to cut down our cost for buying them. All proceeds I get from the show, will go directly to Japworks. I could also use a volunteer or 2 for the day to help me classify the cars and to put the mics/spl sensors in the vehicles.
Again, thanks to all that are stepping up and helping out.
