Limited Slip here and in my case its POSI-TRAC a PONTIAC Word

The best of both worlds sure a Detroit Locker would be great on the track but hit a sand pile on gandy with 500 lbs. of TQ on the rear and you end up in the crowd of spectators before you have the time to take your foot off the gas.

A Limited Slip is great on the street as well as being about the ONLY type allowing a car over 200 HP at the wheels to SAFELY navigate a wet and rainy road. I have never had a problem driving a low hp RWD (Say 275 rwhp?) on a wet road with a limited slip. And besides if there is nothing to slip on then the rear functions as a Locker on a drag strip anyway. Sure there is a tad bit of parasitic lose that the clutch packs absorb but its well worth the trade off in the long run.

and to the guy who said it wasnt good because you couldnt chirp tires? hmm you need more Tq but on the track I cringe when I get any wheelspin.. wheelspin is the enemy
