Hey guys, maybe someone can help me out. I own/ownED a 2000 gsr. It was stolen from my driveway. There was no broken glass, no noise, nothing. It was found a few weeks later.
Heres my question. How the fuck did they start my car?? No aftermarket alarm, no ignition modifacations, stock!!. i can see how they got in, they pulled the top of my door frame and used something to reach down and hit the unlock, they bent the door frame and tore the weather strippin, but there is absolutely no trace of tampering to the ignition, NONE. and i bought the car from out of state from a 1 owner older guy so i have the only two keys for it.
How did they start my car? I thought the 2000 gsr computer wouldnt let the car start without the key
Help me out guys, this is driving me absolutely crazy

 

Break the ignition + screwdriver=started honda.

 

the ignition is fully intact is whats fukin me up here, not even a scratch

 

master key. repo guys have them.

 

Was it stripped when it was found?

 

if i got in a civic/integra, i could start it and drive it away and put it back together with no trace of breaking the ignition, philips and flat head is all i need for a clean job.

nah i just had to break into my car a few times and was surprised on how very easy it is.

 

Insurance report said civic is top of the list in stolen cars once again.
Get full coverage, nuthing for u to worry about next time around. And a newer car.
Car is stolen, do as much as you can to search for it. I hear stories all the time, they find their car stripped down to the bones a few weeks later. GL, but dont revolve your life around a car.
