We've had AWD since the 90s, granted not full time awd, and Honda has always been about high revving NA motors. Always. The NSX puts down 500+whp with a stage one turbo kit, 450+whp stage one twin turbo, but did they make it a factory option? No, because thats how honda does things. No power adders needed when you rev to a billion rpms. Either way, I dont see how Honda not using turbos has anything to do with the fact that you're trying to tell me that a car with the chassis designation of the skyline, and the trimlevel of the skyline for its name, the AWD legacy of the skyline, which is being marketed to the fanboys of the skyline, is not a skyline.

OMG, how many carnorants are here.

"is a G"
"is not that good" on and on.

Have you people read specs let alone some serious reviews?

At $70K even at $80, this car is a steal.

But this my opinion only.

honda will never hold there own against nissan, never have, never will. the NSX has been getting its ass handed to it in JGTC by nissan for over a decade now and its not going to change.

remember Honda charging $90,000 for a 280hp "supercar" that couldnt even pull sub 5 second 0-60's? right around that time nissan was making 300+ HP, twinturbo, AWD sub 13 second quarter mile cars for what, $30,000?

honda can suck on my BALLSACK

I'm sorry that you feel you have the need to go from 0-60 in under 5 seconds every day, and that you somehow feel the need to have two turbos. Honda isn't about horsepower battles with nissan, they make good quality, long lasting dependable cars, they make them affordably, and they have possibly the biggest aftermarket support of any manufacturer out there. I don't care who wins JGTC, I dont watch that series. I only watch three forms of racing that involve Honda, Moto GP, le mans, and F1. They do very well in Moto GP, and in Le mans, not so much in F1. But did you ever stop to think that maybe Honda factory support isnt very strong in JGTC because they have so many more race teams in so many other forms of racing that have factory support? Anyone can dump alot of resources in one form of racing and dominate it, like suzuki does in AMA Superbike. Honda Factory Performance spends alot more money than Nismo does, because they are involved in so much more than Nismo currently is. Thereby, I'm sure Nissan works alot more closely with their JGTC teams than Honda can, which means they'll have better technology and a competitive advantage. Honda and Toyota are both in F1, where is Nissan? Honda (in the form of the Acura High Performance Division) and Toyota are (or at least will be in the case of Toyota) in le mans, Nissan hasn't competed since 1999. Even mazda gets into the mix, Spec Miata, Formula Mazda, and they do very well in le mans racing as well. Why is it that Nissan is conspiculously absent from the big international racing series?

Like I said earlier, none of this has anything to do with why the GTR isn't a skyline. So lets try to stay on topic maybe?

90% of honda is FWD.

100% of FWD is gay.

my lord lets compare apples with apples hear. honda and nissan are going in pretty different directions, who the hell cares. Honda has nice cars and nissan has some nice ones as well, its all in what your looking for..let it rest

I cant want to see one of the gtr's on the road. People will always find something to complain about, the thing is tearing up the track and everything in its path it seems, yet "it would be better if it wasnt so fat yada yada"
