The 2009 Corvette ZR1 starts at $103,300, which includes the $850 destination charges. In addition to that starting price you will also have to add the $1,700 Gas guzzler tax. If you want the upgraded interior package which includes: a power-adjustable, heated and leather-trimmed sport seats (embroidered with the ZR1 logo); side air bagshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_bag ; Bose premium audio system; navigation system; Bluetooth connectivity; power telescoping steering column; and a custom leather-wrapped interior available in four colors you are going to have to dish out another $10,000. Chrome wheels are also a $2,000 option.
The 2009 Corvette ZR1 is powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 that puts out 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. It reaches 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph.

wow! the 'ring #'s have not been released yet so I'm not sure what your talking about. They are predicting mid 7:2x's which is pretty much faster than everything. Heat soak(as Chuck said in another thread) will be what I'm interested in on the track.

Oh, by the way, so why do people buy ferraris and lambos? porsche? lotus, anything up there in price? Ill take the vette.
Because Ferrari/Lamborghini/Prosche/Lotus are better?
Scratch that, most cars that Porsche makes and every care that Lotus makes is under $100,000.
And if you buy a Ferrari or Lamborghini, you're buying an image, because in the end, the the common person, a Corvette is a Corvette and a Ferrari is a Ferrari.

For porsche its: Reliablility, Quality, Ceramic brake options, Factory recaros, ect ect and a racing hearitage that beats everything except maybe ferrari. Thats only if your looking into the car as a whole and not something to just spend money on and show off how small your penis is...
