Lightbulb Previous JDM meets at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor

I'm thinking about hosting a car meet at Philippe Park. For those of you who've attended previous JDM meets at the park, how did you like the shelter and the parking? Did the park ranger bother you guys? Thanks for any feedback you can give me.

I think it was the best place to have a meet the rangers never said boo to us. but i think you need to reserve a shelter.

It was the best place in the area to have a meet. Whoever this meet is for make sure they behave though, we dont want to get all car meets thrown ou t because a few asshats think showing off is a good idea.

Thanks for your advice. I've held 2 fairly large meets at another park last year and earlier this year and we've never had problems with the Park Ranger.

well IMO the first meet at philippe park was the best.
not as much parking but the scene and spot was perfect.
lots of trees for shade and right by the water.
i forgot wich pavilion it was though.
