motor questions
Want to a desiel motor in a chevy S-10 (1987). I have found a mitsubishi motor that is desiel. Wanting to see if anyone has any ideas about desiel motors.

maybe cause a duramax is expensive as hell compared to what you can pay for an old mitsu diesel. If hes doing the veggie oil thing, i think its an awesome idea...

I'd stick an old 12v cummins in it...you can pick 'em up cheap and they make great power...most likely will need to buy a cowl hood to fit it though.
I know painless has wiring harnesses for cummins engines now.
Are you trying to make it a street car or are you trying to take it to the track?

in my opinion, the cummins is easily the simplest motor to work on, and the dependability when well cared for is top notch.
Maintenance is cheap too, as it doesnt have fucking 15 to 16 quarts of oil...
