just to let every1 know. i went and paid my $76 today. the only reason i had to do it so soon is because i have court on thursday and that probably wouldn't of looked to good......

I think they are trying to pass that. It won't ever be done. How can they impound your car on a non moving violation. I have had over 10 of those tickets.
On 99.5 the other day some bitch was on there claiming that the bass causes listeners to become angry. She says cops are getting shot when they ask these "thugs" to turn it down.
This is why I hate people.

I hope they do pass that law.... and its dangerous to have your shit up loud like that everywhere you go... what if theres an emergency behind you and you cant hear them? then your in there way......
I have had systems, I install them and everything, but i still think its stupid for ppl to have there shit up all the fucking time... if u wanta have your system up, roll the windows up...

i got pulled over friday night for my stereo.. the dickhead cop was searching my car and i was talking to the cool one and i asked him how loud it was and he said
"dude i couldn't even hear it.. we are just looking for drugs"
then i asked the other one and he said with a tone "we were like 100ft away!"
but i didn't have drugs so they let me go.. and before i left the cop asked "what does TR stand for?" and i said "it's a car website called Tampa Racing
he asked if its where we talk about street racing and i said
"no we have TRack events for that"
then the dickhead cop said
"good because if i catch you racing on my streets im taking you straight to jail"
the cool cop just looked at me and laughed.. it was a pretty interesting stop..

The only time you should have your system up is on freeways or comercail areas while moving when you get to a stop with other cars around turn it down, if your in residential turn it down, if your driving by a school or church or something to that nature turn it down.

You can still clearly hear the bass whether or not the windows are up.
My friend just got one of these tickets, his system is pretty loud, but it was only up halfway. My single 10" sub was louder then his system was at the time, but the cop that got him claimed he radared the distance @ 111FT away he could hear it.
