Default Just a curious questionaire

Being that the gas prices are solaring to record highs each and every week and nobody claims to be apart of it(politicians and oil companies)....But what do you guys with the high performance cars think about all this?? Will get rid of your street demon and go with a gas saver or continue doing what you enjoy?? Just curious questions being that regular 87 octane is at $3.60 a gallon and 93 octane is close to $4.00.

i have yet to change my driving style, but the price of gas is causing me to car pool more, and avoid short trips. I still haul ass everywhere I go though

I will never get rid of my baby. Now as for my daily, I will be more mpg conscious on my next purchase (Though I get 25/30mpg now, I want more). Otherwise as John said, I still haul ass everywhere I go, regardless of the vehicle I'm driving.

I won't sacrifice safety for gas mileage unless things get REALLY bad.

Edit - I used to drive to Tampa or Brandon on a whim. Now I actually stop and plan things out - try to get more done in one trip and don't drive that far more than once a week. My work keeps me in Zephyrhills and Dade City, so any trip to Tampa is out of my own pocket. I get 14.8mpg.
