For those who have purchased an Ipod radio fm transmitter, what stations do you have yours tuned at? I got mine at 92.7fm. That station in my area has slim to none static.

Mine was wired in to my aftermarket radio till some tool decied to break in to my car and steal my radio.

 

I had a Belkin one and returned it. The volume on those isnt as loud as just using a cd and my car has the stock radio so I can use the plug like on an aftermarket radio.

 

it doesn't matter what station you tune it to. I had mine on 98.7 and it worked just as well as it did on 93.7

But i have an AV jack on my head unit now which sounds alot better.

 

if you have an aftermarket headunit pick up one of these!! there cheap as hell, charge your ipod, and make your music sound better than any cd can!

had to bump this thread cause now my ipod is getting lots of static and sounds horrible. my head unit is an alpine CDA 7995. specs.

any suggestions to make my ipod music sound as good as cd's quality and static free?

i googled a picture of what the back of the unit

 

88.1 is usually what I use.

 

87.9 is what i use. I travel all over the country on a pretty regular basis and it always works no matter what city im in.
