ps - last i heard, didnt CFT shut down or is no longer? and why would people venture to them, they're in orlando..and there are plenty of fine shops in this immediate area.

Is it through your personal experience that these places as you say "suk ass"? Or just some things you read online? One of my friends has used pheareable a few times now and he's had nothing but good experiences with him, and is happy with the quality of work he does. Driven Concepts, haven't used them but I've heard a few things through friends

CFT or DC is good ..


CFT builds more "race" cars and has experience doing so . Depends on type of work wanted done . I don't even think Vega should be included he doesn't build anything

John Vega just tunes as far as I know.

CFT, well their work is great and their cars win races. They do it all, build, tune, fabricate etc...

DC does not tune cars, and to this point I have not seen any of their cars win any kind of races be it drag, road, etc..they build some nice looking stuff though.

So you really are not comparing apples to apples although I will say if you are building a race car (drag) and have deep pockets CFT is the way to go.

 

Not sure what you are trying to imply by that. Take a look at the TR shop forums and see for yourself, but we are the ONLY shop forum that actually leaves the good and the bad comments, this way people can evaluate us and make their own decisions. It is impossible for a business to have 100% customer satisfaction, but we at DC do try our best to do that. We can't always please everyone, but we try our best to. I think it's pretty much bullshit for a shop to delete the negative comments or experiences from their customers. We do not do that in the DC forum. We try our best to answer and resolve the problem, once all parties have said what they want to say, we lock the thread. Keep in mind, we do not alter any content or delete any posts that are of a helping nature. Only posts that gets deleted are posts that are off subject and have no intention besides shit talking.

You should really post up what you need done in a thread like this. At the moment, we do not tune, we have capable people, but without a dyno in house, we choose to contract other turners and dynos in the area. As for building cars,that's what we do. We don't specialize in building drag cars, autox cars, drift cars, rather we are capable to do the whole package. We take pride in our work, a swap that another shop does in two days, will take us four to do. We are not the cheapest, but do build show quality cars. My personal opinion will be to visit each shop in person, get a feel for yourself. Your typical person can sense bullshit and not, so if you feel like a place is BSing you too much, stay away. If you get a good feeling, stick with it.
