why are these so cheap ? even worth looking into?.. they seem like they may of came from another mazda car?

because brake lines are an extra $100 and so are slotted rotors... Plus its a front kit only...

k? 550 is still cheap as shit for a front big brake kit. for some cars i've seen it at like 5 grand.

Well "big brake kit" can mean a lot of things, in this case it means just that...they're slightly bigger brakes than the current ones.

Those appear to be OEM calipers, probably from a Mazda 6 or something. They're either OEM Mazda or aftermarket and can be found at pretty much any Autozone for ~$80 + core each.

These guys picked some up, painted them gold, picked up a pair of cheap rotors and labeled it a big brake kit.

The real BBK's have custom purpose-built 4, 6 and 8 piston calipers.

????? if its a mazda for mazda swap whats wrong with that you honda guys been doing it for years !!!!

not planning to get the kit just wondering why they were so cheap? and if it is a mazda6 or something like that that cool because there bigger and alot heavyer cars. but im also wondering if there just the other set of brakes they make for the protege5 they came with to brake options!
