I dunno how much more hassle is involved but i wonder why didn't he just drop a 2JZ engine in it and call it a day? .

 

right, cause i think thats the Tacoma motor but im sure thats a standard motor for Land Cruisers. either way its cool as hell. i guess he wanted to be different.

 

true....besides toyota engines aren't like hondas where everything drops into everything else with little modification. Looking at the land cruiser engine it's also an inline six and i'd imagine since toyota doesn't make much I6's a 2jz shouldn't be that much different from it.

 

i prefer to put Toyota's new Twin Turbo diesel motor thats found in the 08 Land cruiser's in japan and Australia.....

 

I honestly think it's a master plan by GM and others to make money. Look at how much japanese cars are out there with much better build quality, much better looks and are cheaper yet they never make it over here, or if they do they basically take everything off of it that makes it cool for the sake of "safety ratings" and "emmissions laws"

 

Because its basically already a 2JZ its a 4.5 I6 that is stout as fuck. People in the middle east boost the fuck out of these things.

Also we may get that 4.5 TT V8 diesel soon

 

thats what the Tundra,sequoia and Land Cruiser need.

 

yup 1000hp landcruisers and 1000hp nissan patrols are abundant in the middle east..
