Over the years I've heard a lot of stories of cops driving these unmarked cars and goading people into races revving at them at lights. They don't consider it entrapment just as they don't consider undercover vice cops busting johns to be entrapment. It may not technically be illegal but it is pretty shitty.

 

yeah its not entrapment if you would have done it anyways with someone else. they have to con you into doing something that a "reasonable person" would never have done otherwise! street racing does not fall into that category!
