Default Interesting morning with the Police.

So I am leaving my condo in St. Pete across from the Dog track and do my usual “Flash my high beams at the stoplight” trick to get them to change. It works and I notice a white car got caught in the abrupt change and, as I look as I turn onto Gandy towards the bridge, I notice it’s a squad car. I then am like I’ll just play stupid if he pulls me over for it. As he approaches he passes me followed by three other cruisers. I thought that was odd until things got really weird. A unmarked silver Van with limo tint passes followed by another cruiser, A jet black unmarked 04+ suburban (limo tint), cruiser, 99-04 suburban, followed by four more chase cars.
I am not sure if they were transporting a DV, going to do a raid or bust, or maybe just setting up for a speed trap. Just thought it was odd. Once they approached the bridge they went into a staggered formation to block cars from passing them and continued that way over Gandy Bridge up To Westshore where I turned as they continued on.

**CLIFF NOTES: There was allot of Pinellas cop cars in Tampa this morning **

Don't type in white, not all of us use "tamparacing Night" setting. When you use white, we can't see shit

Can't see the dafault font color icon so I used orange. I typed it in a draft e-mail and pasted it in here. Sorry about that.

Gets me because its all works from under the vehicle right ??? Its all magnetic or something from when your car reaches a certain point in the road if im not mistaken.... Saw this on Modern Marvels on the History channel....

The strips in the road detect the electro magnetic field generated by your engine, but I think he's referring to something emergency vehicles use, I was pretty sure you need a transponder to do that though.

I know down on clearwater all the lights are like that. every time i pull up to a light down there i flash my lights once or twice and the light changes within 5 seconds or so.

some of the new stoplights need that, the others just need a IR beam

and yes, overly illegal, like, 10 years in federal.
