I bought my 99SS camaro from them back in the day. Easy people to deal with. No pressure whatsoever. I was in/out within 2hr of getting there.

A friend of mine bought a 96 stang from them and had no problems. After he wrecked it he went back to them and bought a nicer one.

edit* it's just the problem with buying a used car. Hence, make sure you do your research about what are known problems with the car your buying and take it to a mechanic if needed/possible.
naw not comparing them 240's as they are not comparable. I used to work at a Honda Dealer and at least every other day a S2K came in with tranny or clutch issues. I used to drive them every day and imo they are garbage mainly cause i can barely fit. I find them overpriced, slow, and a pain in the ass to drive.

I've alway heard really good things from Hillsborough Auto Mart.. My friend bought his IS300 from them, and he's really happy with the car and their service!

Before I opened XAT, I bought my last 5 personal cars from Daniel... great people and fair pricing... there is a reason he sells more used cars monthly than most of the franchised dealers in that area.

I know this is waaaaay late to the party but it is some relevant info.

Tampa Area: Hillsboro Automart?? - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum

And on a personal experience.....

They had a BMW with a blown motor that they weren't sure what to do with. So i called them up and offered to buy it off their hands. I ask for the head person there and gets switched to someone that claimed to be a/the manager. I tell him i'd be willing to take the car off their hands(cause they have been sitting on it for a while), so he tells me he will get back to me.
He calls back and says they will sell it for 5k. I began laugh my ass off, then asked him if he was actually serious. He says dead serious, so i asked how he came to that number. He replies 'that's no concern of mine how he got the number....do you want it?' Um, no concern of mine? I mean after all its not like i'm actually asking to buy it, right?
After a little massaging he lets it out that he thinks they can get 7k for the car at auction if they rebuild the motor. He says he thinks he can have the blown motor rebuilt for 2k. Either these people are complete idiots or they take me for one. I think its the latter.....taking others for idiots. Otherwise they would be out of business.
Mind you these cars sell retail on ebay and from dealers for 7ish. How he thinks he'll get retail at a wholesale auction is beyond me. Yes i know some illegals go to these auctions and just pay whatever for cars cause they send them out of the country anyway. Even if this jabrone got lucky and found someone to pay retail on the car at auction there is no way he can put a running motor in the car for 2k.

I could go on and on about the convo and why everyone should stay faaaaar away, but don't have that much time so i'll just leave it at this. BUYER BEWARE!

Typical dealer haggling.
Walked in to talk about a cars pricing. Offered less, and more realistically what the car was worth, should have offered even less but I was trying to be fair , and they didn't budge. 3 months later car is still on the lot and they called me trying to sell me the car for the price I originally offered. By then I had lost interest having found better deals. Haven't done business with per say, so i can really comment on anything else.
