Wow, what a piece of shit. It weighs in at over 4200 pounds and is powered exclusively by a 2.5l 170hp four cylinder. It carries five people and doesn't have what I'd call an awesome amount of cargo space. It has practically no ability to tow or carry a heavy load or do anything real SUVs used to do back when they were based on trucks. The gas mileage is the only thing that might justify this vehicle, but it's mediocre compared to what you might get out of a normal sedan or wagon with a similar powertrain and 1000 pounds less weight. This thing is a perfect example of why I hate crossovers.
If I needed to carry a gaggle of annoying little kids to school and on family vacations along with a bunch of luggage, I'd get a minivan. Tons more space, similar weight but big ~250hp V6 engines for quite a bit more punch. Fuel economy is worse but you're carrying 8 people and their stuff compared to 5.
If I needed to tow a boat and pack some people in too, I'd get one of the few remaining true truck-based SUVs. In the "midsize" class from Nissan alone there is the Pathfinder, and going fullsize the Armada. I'd probably get a GMC Yukon instead.
If I needed to carry five people around in a reasonably efficient and economical vehicle I'd get a normal four door sedan or an even more practical five door hatchback/ wagon. A Mazdaspeed 3 starts only 2 grand more than this turd, weighs over 1000 pounds less, carries almost as much and is a hell of a lot faster and more fun to drive with only a slight MPG penalty.
