love how it is compared to the camaro that isn't slated for production yet or a definate date of release. . . . . . last I heard they were still not taking deposits down on them.

I think Dodge hit the mark with this. Power, handling and smooth ride.

Its ugly as fuck. there are plenty of cars with power and handling close enough for the same price that look good as well.

Challenger is slated to arrive in showrooms this spring with a starting price of $37,995.
Well, surely there will be a low powerd gay challenger as well, not just the srt version. I sure do hope that the price listed is for the srt.

Just to give a guess where it stands. The typical 350z you see driving that can be bought for as low as the high 20's brand new does the 0-60 in 5.3, does that same braking in 113 feet and I think it pulled a .87 slalom. Its not quite as good but its still 10k less. and the only difference you will notices is that acceleration (btw this was the 04 i got specs from, the 05+ had the hp boost up to 300 so I would assume there 0-60 improved a little.

I dont think its that bad.

Granted the Concept looks awesome!! But compared to what the Charger concept looked like in relation to what came out.... This car is much better.

The charger looks nothing like a muscle car. At least this one held on to a 60/70's esque feel (similar to the new Mustangs). There are some disapointments for instance the body was to be made of Carbon Fibre to help with Weight, not the hood just has Carbon Fibre Vinyl on it.

And if you do some research you will see over the next 5 years it will have tons of engine/trans combinations to choose from. They are only releasing one version at launch.
