Just out of curiousity, has anyone ever researched the regs on maintaining your own fuel tank? If I could have one at home that had a capacity of say 60 gallons, I'd probobly buy race-gas bulk and just alternate filling 1/2 tanks with that and pump premium.

I never let the tank get below 1/2 full, as I've had some bad experiences with gas quality since moving to florida.

I believe the Group Purchase we had had it around $120 a drum. You can buy the canned ones as well here is the vendor: Home

I have an empty can from the ones I previously used and just refill them 4 at a time.

I've noticed that the price for 100 oct doesn't increase very often. For two years I was buying it at $6 and just recently I paid $6.90 per gallon.

This is at the Sunoco on Dale Mabry before Waters.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I used to buy gas there for my old race car because it's $2/gallon less than Sebring, but now I need to run 110 for the new car so back to paying shit price at the tracks.
