Default H2 longetivity?

Just wondering if anyone had any first hand experience owning an H2 with miles around 100K or above. Their engine and trans are more or less a Chevy 3/4 ton truck's and the chassis is pretty stout so I would imagine they fair well? The one in question is a 2003 that appears to have been very well taken care of...

Thanks in advance

Does the one in question happen to be yellow, with the roof rack grille guard light guards and all that jazz with 90-k something?

I drive H2's almost every Fri-Sat-Sun.... They are the biggest waste of space, and gas, produced. You'll love it when gas hits almost 3.50 this summer too. Oh and you better have someone to work on it, just because its a Chevy drive train and engine doesn't mean they will charge you "chevy" labor cost.

If I was that worried about being able to afford gas I'd buy a Hybrid Highlander or Escape. The truck is for my wife who doesn't drive great distances often. My question was more about the durability of the drivetrain and 4WD system...

If she doesn't drive great distances often, why does she need 4wd? Why not get her something like an Element if she likes boxy trucks?

H2s are awful cars. Heavy, ugly, expensive to own--they're like heavy Pontiac Aztecs with worse gas mileage.

Why does it matter what she wants?

She wants it... so that's what he's looking into.
