Post your opinions....

I have to throw my hat in the ring for an 2001+ Audi A4/S4 w/ quattro AWD. Definitely seems like the best price performance ratio. You get a "luxury" car with leather, AWD, and a solidly built engine in a 2.8 V6, bi-turbo V6(S4 only), or turbo I4 flavor all within the range of anywhere between 8k - 16k.

Actually, the S4 only have the bi-turbo 2.7 until 2002, after that they got a small displacement V8. However, pretty much all A4's had the option of a turbo I4.

+1, a great choice for a performance car; I am biased though.

Used 350z is the way to go. Also, theres a fantastic club in the area that does tech days and the like. Great bunch of people, and a really fun car to work on.

Ive had mine for 2 years and honestly cannot say enough good about it.

I mean seriously, this isn't a debate about whether it's a Neon or not. It's about cheap and powerful, well what other car is around $20k and runs 13s?

A used Z with a turbo. Plus, the Z looks cooler (and isnt a Neon)
