True VIP is based on only a select few platforms and is always FULL size sedan and RWD. VIP cars are super LOW and DO NOT use Knock off parts. Stance is everything in VIP and the lower and wider, the better.(see sig)
Lincolns are NOT VIP, Acura Legends aren't either.
VIP is not for everyone. For instance, the kit I'm looking at for my Q45 is about 6K plus shipping from Japan. Then the Fogs, the Exhaust and the grill are another G combined....
Like I said before, if your gonna think about VIP you NEED to do a lot of research first.

1st, True VIP is JDM only....but that arguement is pretty weak because how can you NOT call Merc.Benz and BMW, Jaguar not luxury enough to fit into VIP.
2nd, Suv's and non VIP platforms are considered "VIP inspired" if they are tuned in the VIP style, but they are still not VIP.
A car isn't VIP until it has been slammed, the wheels are super flush. Some camber in the back is needed to fit the mold as well as some lavish lighting and/or interior Mods.
I will post a link to what is considered to be a general concensus about what it takes to be VIP once the link is working again.
