Local car member killed in accident last night
None of you know me but I am the brother of one of your local members Cody Hayes (aka Fritchard). Some of you might know him from his Mazda Miata's or his 07 MS3. Last night around 8pm Cody was coming home from a mazda car meet, he was exceeding the speed limit clipped another car, went airborn and rolled his 07 Mazda speed 3 into a palm tree killing him instantly. Cody was only 25 years old... I know some of you know him or may have heard of him, but please everyone including my self.....lets keep the racing or aggressive driving to the tracks. I would never wish anything like this to happen to any of you or your family members, so lets try to prevent this kind of stuff. For the ones who know him, funeral services will be Saturday Jan 12. Thank you guys...

Damn, that just plain sucks.
Although I never met him face to face I we traded PM's a bunch of times back when he had his Miata, we always seemed to post in the same threads.
RIP, so sorry for your loss.

I am friends with his fiancé. I knew Cody for about 4 years. Ever since I knew him he always had a smile on his face and funny things to say. We always had a good time when we chillied. He loved his cars, we always talked Mazda's and other cars. Please everyone remember a good person. He will be missed. R.I.P. Cody, you will always be in our hearts.
