windshield replacment!

Default windshield replacment!

before i get flamed, I know it has been asked a million times, but will my ins. replace my windshield if i only have full coverage?
I dont have full coverage and i got a chip and its getting worse.

if not does anyone know a place to get it done that wont cost me an arm and leg?

as long as you have comprehensive you'll be fine and itll get replaced for free.

If not, take clear nail polish and fill in the crack.

if you have comp, its covered under there. otherwise, if you need it replaced and will be paying out of pocket, id suggest you call safelite. their price will include labor and moldings, just add tax! and they'll come to you! we've used them twice in the past 6months for 2 of our vehicles.

one was covered under insurance, the other was just over $200.

yeah, in july my gsr got a new windshield, it has comprehensive coverage on it so i filed a claim and there was no out of pocket expense. safelite came out and replaced it.
just this week the toyota truck got a new windshield, no comp on it so we called safelite and they came out and replaced it, about $200 out of pocket.
the price depends on the vehicle and the area the vehicle is located in.
