out of the blue

does anyone know anything about compressor surge and how to prevent it because my car is basically sounding like a dead duck call then the pshhh... everytime i shift and in boost right now im driving under and it suck any suggestions

i have the turbo xs rfl bov it didnt come with any other springs

well if you bov isnt releasing on shifts then thats your surge problem. say you run a 15lb spring but only push 9lbs full boost then your spring isnt going to open and your compressed air is going to surge back to your turbo causing that gay noise.

check you vacuum line that runs from the top of the bov to your intake mani make sure its not pinched.

well im running about 19 lbs hat it did come with were shims or little rings/spacers how many would you recommend

get a different BOV, everyone i know who had the rfl said it was horrible
