first off i kno they are illegal to use while driving but does any one know were i can get something simular to these but one being red led and one being blue led????????

i want a pair so bad to put in the crown vic but

impersonating an officer...great idea!!

 

let me tell you a little story. Friend of mine from back in the day has an ex-cop car crown vic. White/black paint. He did the same thing and bought blue and red strobes, mounted them, and used them. So Friend decideds to clear traffic for an ambulance and ambulance driver reports him. (sounds like a good deed but still impersonating an officer) Friend ends up with a bunch of fellonys, ends up with his picture on the news, and ends up getting fired from his job. granted he had a police scanner and other misdemeanor charges when he got caught but what hurt him the most was the impersonating charge. Just a friendly word of warning.

 

So dont do any good deeds while impersonating and you'll be fine

 

well my next door nieboer's son had a ex unmarked car that he putthe hole thing back in the cage lights bumpers every thing he never got in trouble with it but he got picked on every time a cop drove by . i don't know how many times we were outside talking and a cop would try to yell at us . it got to the poin the that he put a clip and pug on it so he could take them off the dash . all he wanted was to make it look like a police car . didn't care abou the hole impersonating thing . .. so play at your own risk dude

dont put red and blues in your vic. not only will you get hasseled, but you will get guys who drive vics, and have no desire in even looking like a cop (guys like me and hundreds of others) hasseled also.

a guy in Orlando area was using his spot light on the road shining it at his friends house. a cop drove by and saw him. in the next 2 weeks he got stopped 4 times and had his car tossed everytime, after that he removed all the extra lights and the spot. cops left him alone.


DONT PUT STROBES ON YOUR CROWN VIC

 

why would you want these?

 

for show ONLY ....i dont want any impersonation charges so i belive ill be good for do it at a show right???
