Let's not forget, the 2008/2009 CTS-V is supposed to get the Z06 V8, and have 500hp. All this, with 4 doors.

Makes EVO's and STI's look like low hp toys.

I think I'd replace the Camry with the CTS-V if I could, but I'm saving up to get rid of teh 4runner in a few months, and hoping to replace it with a new Escalade.

a few months ago i read that they were going to eventually have 3 trim levels (i guess like the vette's base/z06/zr1)

however it prolly is a rumor

RUMOURS

MARCH '07: | According to some sources, the new GT-R will have 3 versions - Stock, V Spec, and Evo Spec.
the Evo version will be sold a year after of stock debut = Oct/2008 in Japan, and will be limited production.
All models will have the same engine spec 3.8L Twin Turbo (not 3.7L), VQ37HR 450hp 50.0kgm , however the Evo will have carbons all around and will be a 2 seater.

Whether the images are photochops or not, the Nissan GTR is going to be hot. The standard GTR will be priced at roughly $57k, the V SPEC $67k and the EVO version $94k. The standard GTR and V SPEC will hit the 480hp while the EVO reaches 530hp from the VQHRTT engine and weighs in at 220lbs less than the standard GTR.
Oh, did we mention that the GTR is HOT.

we'll have to wait and see
