Default Sweet huh?

I had to replace my clutch a little while back so I took it to the Evo guys here in town. I had known them for a short while, but they had always done a great job(service parts, etc) and I had talked to others who used them and everybody said that they were great... Well less than a week after i got my car back(clutch break in period) The T-Case goes out. Come to find out, they put the wrong fluid in it, and about half of what it called for. My drivetrain warranty is now voided, so I took it back to them and they said they would fix it. About a month and a half later i get it back(after all the lies, and claiming it was finished, etc). That night it starts makin a funny noise, so i try and bring it to them the next morning and the whole tranny locks up on me doin about 55mph. I took it to my local dealer and they said whoever worked on the car forgot to put a plug back in and all my tranny fluid had leaked out... The shop denied they had any part in that, and said it was a Mitsu dealer they had taken my car to that messed it up. Everybody is denyin being at fault and now supposedly im stuck with buyin a new tranny... What can I do?

Id keep all receipts of the work being done. Bring it to the dealer and grab the owner. They are trying to get out of paying the cost for it, cause the warranty wont cover the dumb ass employee that worked on your car. Im sure the owner knows nothing about whats going on, he/she should take care of the problem.

Your local dealer proved that it was touched right?.. have it noted from them saying "____ (a certified dealer) has verified that ______ (your name), _____(make, model)'s vehicle has been tampered with. The Transmission fluid has been drained because of a employee of their's, has removed the plug. Doing so, the transmission can not lubricate certain moving parts causing the transmission to lock-up. And then your local dealer can make a quote of how much the damage will be and the "Evo guys" will pay the bill!

first thing to do would be to buy a new tranny. Then try and figure out who to blame. Other wise you are just gonna be out a car for a long time. What shop was it?

^whaaaat? put a comma and a period somewhere in there! well, doesnt it take money to file a lawsuit? doesnt it take money to GET a lawyer? if the outcome isnt what you had hoped, you think you would of been better off buying yourself a new tranny?

^theres a case tho, and some lawyers wont charge u anything if they dont win(granted they have to have a bulletproof case) but this case seems pretty good, if hes telling us everything

and he can sue for lost wages, lawyer costs, court costes, and get money for a new tranny!
