well lets see when the timing is put into the hemi and the 427 your looking at 700hp out the hemi and the 427 is like 550 and over 600ft tq.

the just had a show on speed where they took the factory stock cars from back in the day and ran them on dynos to see what they really made seeing the factory low balled the fuck out the numbers for insurrance reason back then

 

or a neon

 

Or a 240 with their factory mismatched body panels.

 

The slow drivers was more or less in response to get a 13 sec time outta the skyline. The slowest car in the group stock is the S2k, and even then its a 14 sec car all day long. A lot of the older cars were underrated back then, that i know. But a lot of the others werent as fast as a lot of ppl think they were

 

yes..but alot of super stock cars like the 427 camaros and the hemi cudas rans 11s stock once they where setup for racing and slicks.

there is a race series that runs the cars stock and they have to be like they where off the show room floor or factory with same sort of tires and all the other b.s and they run in the 11s and 12s..its a cool series.

Well the skyline definately wins. Didn't you watch the movie?

Supra guy jumped the bridge and broke suspension, rims and cracked his rotors and swerved and hit the sign, Brian Spilners Skyline went over his car and landed perfectly fine, Orange Julius swerved before he jumped the bridge because he is a biyatch and the Asian chick destroyed her front bumper and radiator and came in second.

So duh, definately the SkYrInE!!1

But the Eclipse Spyder was so much faster than EVERYTHING!

Sport Compact Car did this test a long time ago. With professional drivers, the Supra was the fastest. IIRC, it was a high 12, with the Skyline (with beat clutch and RWD-only mod) coming in with a low 13. The S2k was slower than stock. These were just the imports, though. SCC didn't test the American cars.

 

that jump was rigged partily com genersted the skyline wuda fell short its a heavy car they weigh around 3000 stock not counting body kit and the yenko camaro could have killed them all in a drag race stock its pre tuned for 425bhp at 300ft/lbs the skyline close second because of 4wd grippyness.

 

Nissan is over rated , and they suck alot too!!!, the supra all day!!!
