He has a Mk4 and can't get up $25 for a BOV spring?..hmm.

Honestly though,Tell him to get a real Tial BOV,and be done.

A knock off BOV isn't gonna hold pressure,if it does it won't for long.

 

he can afford the spring, but its just another 50 bucks on top of the 1000+ turbo, intercooler, turbo accesories, afc, guages ect. he was just wondering if an 11lb spring is fine if hes only running 9psi for now, which im almost sure its fine

 

actually the spring is what holds the pressure homie, and its the same exact bov as a tial, and literally inside and out, is the same as the tial. its just made by someone different.

 

No shit the spring holds the pressure,but I meant the BOV will leak.

bov get weak? you mean spring? ITS THE SAME EXACT BOV AS THE TIAL and the spring is a tial spring, so if in fact it gets weak, it would be the same issue, any other tial would have.

Call tial and ask them. Customer support numbers are great. Just don't tell them you have a knock off BOV.
