Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette???
remember hearin about it a long time ago but i just saw a video where they mentioned it and made me think about it.....y wasnt this the faster production car ever made???? 254mph and it was made in 1988...i think i remember hearing that they were a bomb waiting to go off and all were recalled but im not sure...anyone know anymore about this car???

The top speed of 254.76 MPH was attained by John Lingenfelter as the driver, and apparently was not an official documented recorded speed.

john L was a head of his time..what ever he touched went fast
them car where not recalled you still see them around on ebay and so on..they where not a production car,they where bought from the factory then went to johns shop and got made if i remember correct
