Miata?
A twitchy rear isn't normal for Miatas usually. As others have said, probably a bad alignment and/or crappy tires.
And there's no reason to do these difficult swaps...SR20's and rotatries and so forth. The 1.8L Miata engines respond very well to boost, and there are a bunch of cheap turbo and supercharger kits out there.
So yeah... Miata + turbo + coilovers + good tires = Very Yes.

i dont mind an s2ks weight. if its under 3k then i consider it light enough to be modded, plus i think they only wiegh 2800 ish if Im not mistaken only like 200 lbs heavier then a civic coupe. not that big a deal. and with 190-210 whp makes for a high 13 low low 14 second car. very fun and responsive.
^ i agree meshies or even banana spokes like watanbe r8s look sick on a full suspension , roll bar, and baby turbo miata with tasteful exhuast and lipage< like the one on the white miata posted. SEXY
