I rented a pulley puller kit from Discount Auto & I got one of the pushrod stuck inside the long screw that pushes against the crank. The rod isn't threaded or anything, I guess it's just stuck in there somehow. I have it in the oven and I'm hoping it'll loosen up the metal and I can pull them apart. Any other ideas?

 

You did what? Are you saying the center screw that you tighten on the pully kit went into the hole on the end of your crank?

 

No, the long rod (top right of the picture). Is stuck inside the short threaded bolt (right below the long rod in picture).

 

I got it out. Vise & bigass hammer always does the trick!
