I dont know about painting the dash and panels but the rhino lining sounds like a pretty cool idea.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I'm planning on Rhino lining the floor board of my neon since the carpet has been removed. Figured it would be a nice alternative to just spray painting it or something. I got a buddy that' does spray-in truck bed linings for $250 I'm sure he could do floor boards & stuff too!

Eh, its tough, without a doubt its the toughest stuff out there. If you don't mind that its going to look and feel like crap then its a great idea. How much does that stuff weigh vs. carpet, by the way? I'm assumming its about as heavy as regular paint?

They also have that "spray on bedliner" in a bottle at Discount Auto for $7 a can. You could try that, be alot cheaper than Rhino-Liner. That's probably what I'll endup doing to my car.

My only concern with rhino lining is keeping it clean. I would think that after some time it would look like shizza. Anyone have any experience on doing it?? My other concern would be the weight. I have removed all the sound deading material so I would imagine that it would be abit lighter than all that deading mat., that particle sheeting then the carpet??
