The CRX has been wanted for years now, and Honda dose know that it is a highly wanted car. but you have to remember they stoppped the line cause of the safty and bad sales from what im told. I dont think we will see a new CRX for years now, but if they do release it i bet it is going look gay and be a hybrid. just like when they tried to make the Honda Insight look like it.

Don't get me wrong.I like the idea of a new crx.
It's a good platform to start out with.Now if they shove a v6 with over 200tq in there and make it rwd for under 25k....it would have some good selling potential imo.

I really couldn't see them making a crx. They already have a small car...the fit. They would be taking sales away from their own car by producing a crx. If anything they should take any of the leftover EP3 Si engine and trans. and put that in the fit as a Fit Si. Sell it for 19k....idk i think some people would buy it up.

Maybe sell it only to previous Honda owners that are at least 18 years of age so they wouldn't be the next gen rice mobile.
I miss mine, it had limo tint and felt like a really cozy cave.
If they make this they should cut back the Fit production because all the Fit is, is just any 3 door hatch, IE the Nissan Versa, the Toyota Matrix.
The CRX had it's own bodystyle, other than the Mazda MX3, etc.
And for safety, just eliminate the rear seats and maybe add a cage?

it would not take sales frome the fit because it is a hibrid its a total different class of cars i would by it if it ever came out

oh and the reason why they stopped the production of the crx is because in 1992 when the del sol came out (the new crx) sales where not that good so i 1995 they cancelled the line
