Default Auto Revelation...

When(if ever) did you stop caring so much about going fast, having the most kick ass stereo, or having the lowest or most custom ride?
What caused the change?
What was your last vehicle that fit what extreme you were into?
And finally, do you ever miss it?

I just got a 97 saturn, gets 35 mpg, its slow, and it aint the cleanest in the world, but with the mpg i get, and the comfort, and lack of loud exhaust, and cheap maintenance, i cant go wrong!!!
Thats what it was for me, no how about you?

Sometime around when I was 18 and started building a racecar. I care about being fast in my racecar, and I care about having a good, clean stereo because I like good, clean, full music. That doesn't mean 200 dollar speakers and a 1,000 dollar subwoofer system. That means a well balanced array of reasonably high quality speakers.

Comfort is king.

I am going through this change now. I will return to feed my "fast" in the future, when I have a DD to scoot around in, so I don't have to worry about the problems associated with a daily driven modified car. For now, I'm tired of driven around in Florida heat, with no A/C, and no creature comforts. I don't want this as a daily driver anymore. That does not mean I necessarily want to leave the scene forever. For now I want something nice, quite, comfortable, with full interior, that doesn't attract unwanted attention, and I don't have to monitor like lab tech.
